You know what I think would make a brilliant story?

The following is the précis for a novel. However, it’s long enough to be a short story in its own right (four pages in Word), so it’s politely behind a cut. And, for great woe, it will never actually be written, so what you see is what you get.

This evening, I'm going to be productive! I think I want to spare myself the pain of posting fic all over the place, and just make a fic journal for my stuff (separate from dreamers_nest, which is for the fic cowritten with Polaris).
